Discover CGS

Location: Conference Room (N310) Come join us for the next “Discover CGS” class for prospective members. Lunch will be provided. This is a great chance to learn more about CGS in a relaxed and informal setting. Attendance at this class does not obligate you to become a member, but is the first step in the membership process. Please email Liz Stoioff by January 7 if you would like to attend this class, and indicate whether you will need childcare.

A New Global Purpose Church-wide Dinner

We will be having a church-wide dinner in the Fellowship Hall catered by NanaTaco as part of our "One New Humanity: A New Global Purpose" Seminar. CGS Session Retreat

Church of the Good Shepherd

The Session will convene for a period of Word, Prayer, and discussion on Saturday, February 23. Incorporated into this time together will be a stated meeting, which will occur in lieu of the stated Session meeting previously scheduled for Monday, March 4. The principal focus of the discussions will be to review the progress of the Session ReOrg implementation that has been underway over the past 9 months.

Young Adults Soup & Grilled Cheese Cookoff

Right after church we'll be having a soup and grilled cheese cookoff in the Commons. Prepare your favorite soup to share (we'll have surge protectors to keep your crockpot or hot plate warm) and grilled cheese will be prepared on site. College students will judge the best soup (grilled cheese will not be judged because they are all the best.)

Young Adults Board Game Night

Come hang out with your favorite game and best poker face. Who doesn't love a good board game? Bring your favorite game and a snack to share! We will be meeting at Brandon's house. Email the Fellowship Team for address.

Happy Hour: TRU Deli

Bring a game or just yourself to TRU in Chapel Hill (114 Henderson St). They have great food in addition to their drinks if you want to grab dinner.
