We all have hopes—for happiness, good health, job security, marriage, children, friendships. . . . Many times, these hopes cross over into a place of demands, and the result ends up leaving us facing crushed hopes, wondering what went wrong. The disciple Peter tells us that we have been “born again to a living hope” because of Jesus. What does that mean when everything else around us woos us to hope in something, or someone else? All CGS women are invited to a time of fellowship and discussion in room S212. Kelly Rocke will speak about Christ’s call to anchor our hope in Him despite our tendency to put “hope in relationships.”
