Community Groups

We believe that life was designed to be lived in community. Jesus intentionally reached out to the people around Him and “did life” with them on the most intimate of terms. Jesus shared with those around Him, cared for them, ate meals with them, required accountability of them, and sacrificially loved them. He built deep, abiding, eternally life-altering relationships with them, and those relationships changed the world, forever.

In like manner, we have thriving Community Groups through which we share life together. These groups typically include between 10 and 16 people and they meet regularly (commonly weekly). There are many options on nearly every night of the week. Some groups are comprised of people in similar life stages while others are cross-generational.

More about Community Groups

Our Community Groups allow us to live and grow together as Christians, while also providing comfortable, hospitable settings into which to invite those who live and work around us. We are open and warm, and we encourage belonging as a prelude to believing.

In our community groups we emphasize two broad objectives: i) to nurture each other with a loving sense of Christian accountability, while ii) opening our homes and hearts to our neighbors and acquaintances through Christian hospitality.

In simple terms, we are committed to each other’s well-being – and to the well-being of those people in our communities that we do not yet know – all for the sake of the mercy Christ has already displayed towards us.

And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another. (Hebrews 10:24-25)
