We need five (5) volunteers to oversee coffee preparation and clean-up for the SMC Hour on Sunday mornings. Volunteers cover just one (1) Sunday per quarter, with enough time to attend classes afterwards. This is a great way for community groups, couples, families, or roommates to serve the church. Contact: Stephen Windham to coordinate an upcoming Sunday in January, February, or March that works best with your schedule.

On January 19, CGS is responsible for providing lunch at the Durham Rescue Mission men's campus. We fed over 300 last month, so your continued help is greatly appreciated. Come hear our five choirs perform their winter concert on Friday, January 24, at 7:00 p.m. in the Sanctuary, followed by light refreshments in the Concourse. A total of 120 singers ages 5-18 will be performing a fun and varied program. They’d love to see a full crowd! The concert is free and will last approximately an hour, and no RSVP is necessary.
