As an extension of our global missions efforts, CGS annually sends out “Short Term Missions” teams (STM teams) – groups of people from our congregation – to partner with our long-term missionaries and serve with them in the towns, cities, villages, and regions where they live and work. Sending these teams is a great way for CGS members and our Global Outreach Team to see and experience, first-hand, this very critical extension of our ministry. Our short-term teams consist of small groups of adults and youth (sometimes entire families) participating in relationship building, medical clinics, teaching, construction and repair projects, and other types of service.
