Souper Sunday Lunch

All are welcome to join us for lunch each week after Sunday's worship service for a great bowl of soup down in our kitchen! Bring your family, your friends, or just yourself and enjoy some time getting to know others in this community. English Language Conversation Partners Volunteer Lunch

Volunteers with the English Language Conversation Partners are meeting after church from 12:15-1:30 p.m. in Room S206 to check in with one another. We will discuss which teaching methods are working well and pray together over our students and the ministry! Lunch dates: February 23, March 30, April 27. Prayer for Ukraine Zoom Gathering

The CGS GO Team encourages you to join others in praying for the church in Ukraine on Sunday, February 23, from 3:00-4:00 p.m. as the war there continues for the third year. Men’s Friday Morning Bible Study

Men of CGS, If we want to be more of who God wants us to be, we need each other. Experience intergenerational relationship and encouragement as we learn and apply God’s Word to our lives together. Come join us at 7:00am in the church Commons for coffee and Bible study with a group of men. We use the ESV “Knowing the Bible Series” study by Dane Ortlund.  Contact Joseph Scanlon with any questions.

We meet between 9-9:15 a.m. (before Sunday Morning Classes) if you want to chat, and we start praying at 9:15. Event Series Widow’s Lunch

Widow’s Lunch

If you are a widow, we'd like to invite you to join our monthly informal lunch at Jason's Deli on the first Sunday of each month right after worship. We gather together to share our stories and to experience the hope we have in Christ. All widows are warmly invited. C.A.R.E. Training

Sign up to register for this mandatory training for all VBS, nursery, children, and youth volunteers. This one-time training session, held on March 2, from 1:00-3:30 p.m., is an essential part of protecting our young ones! Anyone is welcome to sit in on this training, whether they’ve taken it before or aren’t currently volunteering. We will meet in Room S203-S204. Questions?
