Event Series Men’s Friday Morning Bible Study

Men’s Friday Morning Bible Study

Men of CGS, If we want to be more of who God wants us to be, we need each other. Experience intergenerational relationship and encouragement as we learn and apply God’s Word to our lives together. Come join us at 7:00am in the church Commons for coffee and Bible study with a group of men. Because we are adhering to government officials' guidelines to slow the spread of COVID-19, our Sunday Morning Worship will be via virtual broadcast beginning March 22, 2020 and will continue in this format until further notice. Event Series Youth Lunch Crew

Youth Lunch Crew

Join us at CGS at 12:15pm for lunch with the youth group. We will go to a different local lunch spot each week. Bring $10 for food. Rides will be provided. Pick-up back at the church at 2:00pm.

Young Adults Ladies Night

All young adult ladies are invited to the Whipples' house for wine, cheese, and desserts. Feel free to bring a game, and yoga pants are encouraged. Email cgsyacfellowshipteam@gmail.com for directions.

Discover CGS

Location: Conference Room Discover CGS is the first step in our membership process. This is a great chance to learn more about CGS in a relaxed and informal setting. Lunch will be provided. Please email Abigail Grebe by June 17 if you would like to attend this class, and indicate whether you will need childcare.

Location: Bull McCabe's Irish Pub (427 W Main St, Durham) Enjoy the fantastic outdoor seating area at Bull McCabe's with us! There are also plenty of food options if you want to grab dinner as well.

Rethinking Vocation Joint SMC

Location: Chapel/Commons This Sunday we join in a combined SMC to explore how we view our life between Sundays. Too often Christians divide God's work in the world, making some things "sacred" and others "secular." Instead, we are called to be "salt and light," seeing our vocation as integral, not incidental, to the mission of God.
