Souper Sunday Lunch
All are welcome to join us for lunch each week after Sunday’s worship service for a great bowl of soup down in our kitchen! Bring your family, your friends, or just yourself and enjoy some time getting to know others in this community. Church of the Good ShepherdWe're celebrating Friendsgiving together, and we're bringing the food! Join us from 4:00-6:00 p.m. on November 16 for games, a delicious meal, and a joy-filled evening together. Invite your friends! We ask for a $5 donation/student to help offset the cost. We hope you will join us to study the book of Acts using Nancy Guthrie’s study guide entitled Saved: Experiencing the Promise of the Book of Acts. 4th+5th Grade Crew

CGS Choir Rehearsals
Choir rehearsals begin again on Wednesday September 10 at 7:00 p.m. The choir meets every Wednesday from 7:00-8:00 p.m. In addition to singing periodically during Sunday morning worship services, the choir will be preparing for our combined Christmas service How Great Our Joy! This service combines the singing of all of our choirs (children and youth as well as adult) and will be Sunday evening December 14. No auditions required! If you love to sing, get in touch with us! Men’s Friday Morning Bible Study
Men of CGS, If we want to be more of who God wants us to be, we need each other. Experience intergenerational relationship and encouragement as we learn and apply God’s Word to our lives together. CGS Community Choirs Concert

Benefitting Our Neighbors in Durham and Orange Counties During Unprecedented Times Due to recent unexpected changes in our federal government, our neighbors in this community are no longer receiving Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits. More than 1.4 million North Carolinians rely on SNAP to supplement their food budget. This loss will create real hardship for our neighbors who are already struggling to put food on the table.
