*Men’s Friday Morning Bible Study

Men of CGS, If we want to be more of who God wants us to be, we need each other. Experience intergenerational relationship and encouragement as we learn and apply God’s Word to our lives together. Come join us at 7:00am in the church Commons for coffee and Bible study with a group of men. We use the ESV “Knowing the Bible Series” study by Dane Ortlund.  Contact Joseph Scanlon with any questions.

*Durham Rescue Mission Meal

    CGS is responsible for providing lunch at the Durham Rescue Mission men’s campus. We fed over 300 last month, so your continued help is greatly appreciated. If you would like to help with this month’s meal, please notify  Will Burkart or via phone at (919)732-5199. Dropping off dishes in the main kitchen the morning of the meal remains the same. All are welcome to join us for lunch each week after Sunday’s worship service for a great bowl of soup down in our kitchen! Bring your family, your friends, or just yourself and enjoy some time getting to know others in this community. CGS Adult Choir Concert

Psalms, Hymns, and Spiritual Songs: A Concert of Sacred Music The CGS Adult Choir is pleased to present their spring concert Psalms, Hymns, and Spiritual Songs Sunday, May 18 at 6:00 p.m. in the CGS sanctuary. Join for an evening of music that ranges from exciting settings of hymns such as How Great Thou Art and Holy, Holy, Holy to a contemplative setting of The Lord Is My Shepherd.
