Rising 6th-8th graders are invited to join us for a day of fun at Carowinds.
Rising 9th-12th graders are invited to join us for a beach trip.
On Sunday, August 18, children (age 2-5th grade) will be moving up to the Sunday School class that coincides with their grade level for the 2019-2020 school year. In addition, rising 6th graders will begin attending the Middle School Sunday School class, and rising 9th graders will move up to the High School Sunday School class. Location: Sanctuary The Gray Havens are returning to CGS for their “See You Again” tour! Special guest John Lucas will be opening for the duo who have been hailed for their richly textured compositions and multi-layered lyrics. Tickets are $15 in advance online, or $18 at the door.

Mostly we’ll enjoy conversation and get to meet new people, but we’ll also set aside some time for church leaders to share briefly our vision for CGS and opportunities for you to get involved, and to answer questions you may have. Maybe you reminisce about your college experience and would love to come alongside a student and share a little wisdom you’ve picked up since then. Our Alongside program matches folks like you with current college students to facilitate the building of these relationships. Join us for a kickoff luncheon at CGS. Dr. Steve Olson, Alison Worsham RN, and Molly Jordan PA will share about their overseas medical missions experience, both short-term and long-term. RSVP to Oscar Aylor or Liz Stoioff.
