Membership Class

Church of the Good Shepherd

We are offering our next Membership class on Sunday, February 9, in the Conference Room immediately after the service, 12:00-2:00 p.m. with a Jersey Mike's lunch provided. This is an opportunity to learn more about CGS and explore membership in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Weekly Communion Servers Needed

All communing members at CGS are invited to participate in a once-a-month rotation for serving communion. (Serving on 5th Sundays is an option for those who can't serve as frequently.) Join the Communion Team Contact: Stephen Balevic. Thank you!

C.A.R.E. Training

Sign up to register for this mandatory training for all VBS, nursery, children, and youth volunteers. This one-time training session, held on March 2, from 1:00-3:30 p.m., is an essential part of protecting our young ones! Anyone is welcome to sit in on this training, whether they’ve taken it before or aren’t currently volunteering. We will meet in Room S203-S204. Questions? Thanks Giving Celebration

  Join us on March 23 from 5:00-7:00 p.m., as we give thanks for God's faithfulness! Men from the church will be smoking a pig and attendees will bring a side. CGS Adult Choir Concert

Psalms, Hymns, and Spiritual Songs: A Concert of Sacred Music The CGS Adult Choir is pleased to present their spring concert Psalms, Hymns, and Spiritual Songs Sunday, May 18 at 6:00 p.m. in the CGS sanctuary. Join for an evening of music that ranges from exciting settings of hymns such as How Great Thou Art and Holy, Holy, Holy to a contemplative setting of The Lord Is My Shepherd.
