Our annual Men’s Backpacking Weekend returns this winter from January 10-12, leaving CGS around 2 p.m. on Friday to head out. We will hike approximately 10-15 miles with backpacks that weekend. If you’ve never been with us before, please come! Contact Andrew Parrish with any questions.

We need five (5) volunteers to oversee coffee preparation and clean-up for the SMC Hour on Sunday mornings. Volunteers cover just one (1) Sunday per quarter, with enough time to attend classes afterwards. This is a great way for community groups, couples, families, or roommates to serve the church. Contact: Stephen Windham to coordinate an upcoming Sunday in January, February, or March that works best with your schedule.

Join International Students Inc. in welcoming and supporting international students at Duke through Supper Club. As a Supper Club host you will host 2-4 students in for a meal 3 times a semester. A host home can be a combination of households, friends, family members or housemates hosting together. Interest Meeting | February 2, 12:30 p.m. Calling all gardeners, artists, and handymen: we need your expertise to establish the CGS Community Garden. We are offering our next Membership class on Sunday, February 9, in the Conference Room immediately after the service, 12:00-2:00 p.m. with a Jersey Mike's lunch provided. This is an opportunity to learn more about CGS and explore membership in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.
