Women’s Wednesday Morning Bible Study: 9:30-11:30am
Begins September 2018, and runs through April 2019
Join us as we study the life, ministry and biblical writings of the Apostle Peter, focusing particularly on 1 Peter. As a first-century Christian in a world hostile to the gospel, Peter will teach us to persevere in the face of suffering — even today! His writings remind us of the “living hope” we have in Jesus Christ and the rich identity we share as His disciples. Peter doesn’t just deliver abstract teachings but applies the gospel to our daily lives. Through this study, we’ll learn what it means to live passionately for Jesus!
Our format focuses on Small Groups where we discuss the week’s lesson (prepared in advance) and its everyday application to our lives. Once a month we gather in one Large Group for a teaching/enrichment time from the lesson. Our study will take us into the life, ministry and writings of the Apostle Peter, with particular focus on the epistle of 1 Peter. NO previous knowledge of the Bible is needed as we will learn together.
Childcare is available for ages 3 months to 4 years old.
Women’s Wednesday Evening Bible Study: 7:00 – 8:45pm
Meets same Wednesdays as morning study
(September 2018-April 2019)
Our study will mirror the women’s Wednesday morning study, as it takes us into ministry and writings of one of Jesus’ closest companions, the Apostle Peter. Preparation is encouraged using the same study guide as the morning study along with small group discussion to support growth through understanding Biblical truths and exploration of their every day applications. This study is provided for women who, for any reason, find it more convenient to attend an evening study. Child care is not provided for the evening study.
