Because we are adhering to government officials' guidelines to slow the spread of COVID-19, our Sunday Morning Worship will be via virtual broadcast beginning March 22, 2020 and will continue in this format until further notice. The service will be available beginning at 8:00am on Sundays, but you may watch at the time that best fits the rhythms of your family's schedule. You may view more info about our virtual service here.
What will it take for the Gospel to impact the Durham/Chapel Hill community? Jesus said, “You are the light of the world; you are the salt of the earth.” But how can we be light and salt if we don’t know what is happening in our community? We are concluding our Life: 360 seminar with a joint SMC in the Chapel. Aaron McKethan (Senior Policy Fellow at Duke-Margolis Center for Health Policy, CGS Elder) will be speaking.
The Deacons meet on the second Monday of the month. The Session joins them in January, April, July, and October.
Men of CGS, If we want to be more of who God wants us to be, we need each other. Experience intergenerational relationship and encouragement as we learn and apply God’s Word to our lives together. Come join us at 7:00am in the church Commons for coffee and Bible study with a group of men. We use the ESV “Knowing the Bible Series” study by Dane Ortlund. Contact Joseph Scanlon with any questions.
