All of us have faced – and will face – hardships and challenges. For some, suffering is an intellectual issue (“Why is there so much evil and suffering in life? If God is good, why does he allow it?”). For others, it is a personal problem (“How will I get through this?”). For many, it is both.
During this special combined SMC, we will begin a discussion of this question by interviewing our special guest Glenn MacNaughton. Glenn is a former pastor and church planter who works today as Lead Internal Auditor for the Defense Acquisition University in Washington, DC. He will share a series of traumatic experiences he has faced and the role that prayer, meditation on Scriptures, and significant relationships with other believers has played in addressing these painful difficulties.
SMC begins at 9:30am. Coffee and donut holes available beginning at 9:10am.
