Perhaps you have heard about our new Family Advocacy Ministry (FAM) at CGS? This ministry forms Care Communities of 6-10 folks who serve families in need with tangible, realistic care – praying weekly for them; providing a meal once a week; and providing other support as they are able. What is a family in need? Think of a family doing foster care; or a single-parent family; or a family facing a crisis. In order to participate you – or even your entire Community Group – needs to go through a one-hour interactive training session.
