Interested in learning more about Good Shepherd or exploring church membership? Join us for our Membership Class on Saturday, October 3, from 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. in Conference Room (N310). This class is open to newcomers and longtime attendees. Attending our Membership Class does not obligate you to become a member of the church, but it is the first step in the process. All are welcome to join us for lunch each week after Sunday’s worship service for a great bowl of soup down in our kitchen! Bring your family, your friends, or just yourself and enjoy some time getting to know others in this community. If you are a widow, we’d like to invite you to join our monthly informal lunch at Jason’s Deli on the first Sunday of each month right after worship. We gather together to share our stories and to experience the hope we have in Christ. All widows are warmly invited. For more information, contact Gail Stepp or Jackie Brown.

CGS provides lunch once a month at the Durham Rescue Mission men’s campus. We regularly help to feed more than 300 men each month, so your continued help is greatly appreciated. If you would like to help with this month’s meal, please sign-up to bring a dish or notify Will Burkart (via the CGS Directory on Breeze). Drop dishes off in the main kitchen the morning of the meal.
