Worship Night
If you play an instrument and/or enjoy singing worship music, please join us for an Advent-focused worship night! We'll meet at the Whipple's home (4210 Peachway Dr, Durham, NC) from 7:00-9:00 p.m. and play through about 10-12 worship songs together. All skill levels welcome! Wednesday Women’s Bible Study
Women’s Wednesday Bible Study begins September 17 and runs through March 2026. We hope you will join us to study the book of Acts using Nancy Guthrie’s study guide entitled Saved: Experiencing the Promise of the Book of Acts. CGS Choir Rehearsals
Choir rehearsals begin again on Wednesday September 10 at 7:00 p.m. The choir meets every Wednesday from 7:00-8:00 p.m. In addition to singing periodically during Sunday morning worship services, the choir will be preparing for our combined Christmas service How Great Our Joy! This service combines the singing of all of our choirs (children and youth as well as adult) and will be Sunday evening December 14. No auditions required! If you love to sing, get in touch with us! Men’s Friday Morning Bible Study
Men of CGS, If we want to be more of who God wants us to be, we need each other. Experience intergenerational relationship and encouragement as we learn and apply God’s Word to our lives together. Come join us at 7:00am in the church Commons for coffee and Bible study with a group of men. We use the ESV “Knowing the Bible Series” study by Dane Ortlund.

Souper Sunday Lunch
All are welcome to join us for lunch each week after Sunday’s worship service for a great bowl of soup down in our kitchen! Bring your family, your friends, or just yourself and enjoy some time getting to know others in this community. Widow’s Lunch
If you are a widow, we’d like to invite you to join our monthly informal lunch at Jason’s Deli on the first Sunday of each month right after worship. We gather together to share our stories and to experience the hope we have in Christ. All widows are warmly invited.
